Instructions
Our pharmacy provides prescription dispensing for all OPD and indoor patients, supply of medicines to all wards and ICU, stocking of surgical consumables and medical supplies, emergency medicine availability round the clock, narcotic and controlled drug management as per legal requirements, medicine reconciliation for admitted patients, and expiry date monitoring and stock management as per NABH protocols.
Patient safety is our top priority. Our pharmacists verify all prescriptions for correct drug, dose, route, and frequency before dispensing. We follow a strict double-check system for high alert medications. All medicines are stored at recommended temperatures and conditions. We maintain a look-alike and sound-alike drug list to prevent dispensing errors and ensure every patient receives the correct medication safely.
Patients are advised to always present a valid doctor's prescription for purchasing medicines. Never self-medicate or take medicines without a prescription. Inform the pharmacist about any known drug allergies or current medications to avoid harmful drug interactions. Store medicines as instructed — some require refrigeration. Complete the full course of antibiotics even if you feel better. Dispose of expired medicines safely and never share prescription medicines with others.
